It’s time for teen summer programs at the library!
We’ve got tonnes of things going on through July and August for teens in grades 7-12! You’ll find the most up-to-date information on the library’s events calendar - or here’s a little cheat sheet:
Teen Writing Escape - an open writing space (with snacks!) every second Saturday afternoon
Big Screen Video Games - a monthly chance to play Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and more on a giant movie screen
D&D for Teens - our super popular TTRPG program (registration opens on June 22)
Teen Book Club - a chance to meet with other teen readers each month and talk about what you’ve been reading
Be Kind, Rewind - a weekly Friday night 90s movie - with free popcorn!
Ready Set READ! - a volunteer opportunity where teens read and play games with kids in grades K-3
We’ll also be running Sundaes & Stories - this year’s teen summer challenge. Complete 10 challenges before August 31 to be invited to our Secret Ice Cream Social, where you can win prizes and eat alllll the ice cream. Information about those challenges, and the special app with tracking badges, will be released at our party on June 28.
